On Monday, 10 October 2022, the National Cleaner Production Centre South Africa (NCPC-SA) and the Department of Trade, Industry and Competition (the dtic) hosted a National Eco-Industrial Park Day at the CSIR ICC, Pretoria.
The event was attended by more than 80 guests including industrial park stakeholders, suppliers and international experts who unpacked Eco-Industrial Park concepts. There were also parallel breakaway sessions that focussed on three thematic areas that are critical to the sustainability of industrial parks – water, energy and waste.
