The effects of green gas emissions are evident – climate change and many other effects impact businesses and livelihoods. To address this, some countries have introduced carbon tax bills making it impossible to trade in those countries without producing proof that the imported goods are produced sustainably. By acquiring green skills, industry can transition to a low-carbon economy and remain competitive. The National Cleaner Production Centre South Africa has lined up highly subsidised online green skills training courses to kick off in June 2023.
