Liteboho is a seasoned Sustainability Specialist and Programme Manager with 20 years’ experience working across public and private sector organisations on environmental sustainability, climate change, urban development, and applied research in education and community buildings. She is currently the Country Coordinator for the Natural Resources Stewardship Programme II (NatuReS II) at the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH. She is a Salzburg Global Fellow for Parks for the Planet Forum, a mentor on the Emerging Urban Leaders Program co-convened by Salzburg Global Seminar and World Urban Parks and a Danida Fellow for Environmental Governance. Liteboho also shares her expertise as an external moderator of the Sustainable Cities module of the Post Graduate Diploma in Sustainable Development at the University of Stellenbosch.

Sven Schuppener

UNIDO

Sven is an energy and hydrogen expert at the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO). As an Associate Expert (JPO), he supports the Global Programme for Clean Hydrogen in Industry, advising member states on hydrogen policy, market development, and industrial applications.


Sven’s career spans both public and private sectors, focusing on international sustainable development. Prior to UNIDO, he worked with GIZ in Cameroon for two years on climate mitigation and in Tunisia for three years on renewable energy and green hydrogen projects.

Sven holds an MSc in Environment and Development from the London School of Economics.

Salil Dutt

Mr. Salil Dutt is currently the Chief Technical Advisor (CTA) at the UNIDO Jakarta office since 2018. He has 25+ years of cross-functional experience and vast exposure in the area of energy and environmental management, focusing on the implementation of programs and projects, conceptualizing and implementing consulting/ technology development/ transfer/commercialization projects, setting up new business entities and business operations in south-east Asia and North Africa, strategic business planning and management, policy analysis and capacity building.

He completed his Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the Faculty of Management Studies (FMS), the University of Delhi, after a Master of Technology (M. Tech) in Energy; Environment Management from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Delhi, after attaining B. Tech (Mechanical Engineering) from G. B. Pant University Pantnagar in India

Mchenge Nyoka

UNIDO

Mchenge Nyoka is a National Project Coordinator at the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO) in South Africa. Where he is responsible for project implementation by coordinating activities and resource for UNIDO’s energy projects in the field of Sustainable Energy. Before joining UNIDO, Mchenge worked for the Department of Mineral Resources & Energy (DMRE) where he worked on Energy Efficiency and Energy Management projects in the public sector. Mchenge holds a Master of Engineering degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of the Witwatersrand (WITS) and a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Pretoria (UP). 

Dr Chris Ettmayr

ELIDZ

Dr. Ettmayr is an Economist by profession with a strong background in research, business development, renewable energy, information and communication technology (ICT) and investment promotion. He has developed a good network of public and private sector players that assists in accessing information to help decision-makers plan strategically and effectively. He holds a well-rounded understanding of government initiatives, policies and legislation, across a number of different sectors. Work on the Eco-Industrial Park space combined with the Smart IDZ concept (including ESG reporting) has allowed for new avenues to be explored which will assist with future sustainability of the East London IDZ.
