Christian Susan is an Austrian national. He holds a MSC in Integrated Water Resource Management and a MSC in Environmental Economics. Christian joined UNIDO in 2008 and has since worked as the project manager on a wide array of environmental projects in Africa, Asia, Central and Eastern Europe as well as in Latin and Central America. Promoting public-private-partnerships for water stewardship, circular and sustainable industrial approaches, facilitating Resource Efficient and Cleaner Production (RECP), the Transfer of Environmentally Sound Technologies (TEST) and supporting the transition towards Eco-Industrial Parks are the main objective of the projects managed by Christian. In 2018 Christian has assumed management responsibility for the Swiss funded Global Eco-Industrial Park Program (GEIPP) as well as for the GEIPP country level interventions in Colombia, Indonesia, Peru, South Africa and Viet Nam. The GEIPP is one of UNIDO’s flagship projects promoting the adoption of circular economy approaches in industries.

Bernd is based at the NCPC-SA, heading up the eco-industrial parks programme for South Africa, which he started in the dtic to support the Just Transition for industry to a circular economy.
His areas of expertise cover management consulting, project and programme management, stakeholder management, policy, strategy, planning and sustainability. He has worked in diverse fields covering sustainable development, renewable energy, water, health, agriculture, engineering, R&D, education and training, ICT, mining and the financial sector.
He is passionate about people and sustainable development, driven by the belief in the restoration of Creation and every person to their original purpose and identity. His approach is systemic and integrated towards working with others to find solutions to the multidimensional challenges faced by the world.

Angelica Pena is a Colombian lawyer with graduate studies in corporate government, corporate law and a masters degree from Cornell University in the United States. She is currently Director of the Chamber of Free Trade Zones at the Colombian National Business Association.
Formerly, Angelica advised local and international companies on customs, international trade and foreign exhange.
Angelica has participated in several specialized publications on tax and customs, has been professor for renowned universities in Colombia and has participated as speaker in local and international events.

Nah Yoon Shin

Nah-yoon is a Private Sector Specialist of the WBG’s Finance, Competitiveness and Innovation Global Practice. She is the lead author of Circular Economy in Industrial Parks: Technologies for Competitiveness (2021), and Resilient Industries: Competitiveness in Face of Disasters (2020). She is also one of the main contributing authors to A Practitioner’s Handbook for Eco-Industrial Parks (2018), which is widely used by industrial park practitioners. Nah-yoon specialises in private sector development with climate focus, including industrial decarbonization, eco-industrial parks, climate resilient industrial development and circular economy. At the World Bank, she has worked with clients in Bangladesh, China, Indonesia, Mongolia, Uzbekistan, and Vietnam to help improve industry competitiveness through green transition.
