Mr. Salil Dutt is currently the Chief Technical Advisor (CTA) at the UNIDO Jakarta office since 2018. He has 25+ years of cross-functional experience and vast exposure in the area of energy and environmental management, focusing on the implementation of programs and projects, conceptualizing and implementing consulting/ technology development/ transfer/commercialization projects, setting up new business entities and business operations in south-east Asia and North Africa, strategic business planning and management, policy analysis and capacity building.
He completed his Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the Faculty of Management Studies (FMS), the University of Delhi, after a Master of Technology (M. Tech) in Energy; Environment Management from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Delhi, after attaining B. Tech (Mechanical Engineering) from G. B. Pant University Pantnagar in India

Mergia currently work in FDRE Industrial Parks Development Corporation as Environment, Health and Social Safeguard Department head. He has more than 15 years’ work experience related to environmental issues. Previously, he was working in Federal Environmetnal
Protection Authority (EPA) as senior Environment.
He is passionate about the environment, because the globe we live is distinct and unique. Since, our survival depends on nature and a stable environment, every nation should play its role to protect the environment- dispose common but differentiate responsibility.
MozYouth Mozambique
Vanessa Muteia, MozYouth’s Operations Director, has experience in project management and conducting training sessions for young people. With a degree in Biology, her professional journey includes working for WWF, the world’s largest NGO dedicated to environmental conservation and sustainability, as well as for a leading human resources consultancy in Mozambique specializing in soft skills.
Vanessa’s interest in youth empowerment in Mozambique began during her time at the human resources consultancy, where she had the opportunity to participate in the design and implementation of programs aimed at benefiting Mozambican youth. These programs ranged from training courses to initiatives for improving resumes and personal presentation.
Combining her skills in project management, training, and her commitment to the cause of youth empowerment, Vanessa is dedicated to promoting sustainable development and the personal and professional growth of young people in Mozambique. Believing in the transformative potential of youth, she is committed to creating and implementing programs that not only enhance technical and professional skills but also inspire young people to become proactive leaders in their communities.

Wessel has conducted research for both private and government institutions within the following industries: Mining, Construction, Renewable Energy, Motor Industry, Manufacturing and Production (various), Water Services, Services (Management, Delivery, Financial) and Forestry. He has taken a personal interest in investigating and understanding the impact that technology has on people and the identification of future skills requirements. He has also operated within the educational and regulatory structures by developing Sector Skills Plans for various SETAs, developing 5-year strategies and conducting large scale skills audits. His core skill is described as developing models from academic research and applying this to real-world solutions.
