He has 25+ years of cross-functional experience and vast exposure in the area of energy and environmental management, focusing on the implementation of programs and projects, conceptualizing and implementing consulting/ technology development/ transfer/commercialization projects, setting up new business entities and business operations in south-east Asia and North Africa, strategic business planning and management, policy analysis and capacity building.

With a degree in Biology, her professional journey includes working for WWF, the world’s largest NGO dedicated to environmental conservation and sustainability, as well as for a leading human resources consultancy in Mozambique specializing in soft skills.
Vanessa’s interest in youth empowerment in Mozambique began during her time at the human resources consultancy, where she had the opportunity to participate in the design and implementation of programs aimed at benefiting Mozambican youth. These programs ranged from training courses to initiatives for improving resumes and personal presentation.
Combining her skills in project management, training, and her commitment to the cause of youth empowerment, Vanessa is dedicated to promoting sustainable development and the personal and professional growth of young people in Mozambique. Believing in the transformative potential of youth, she is committed to creating and implementing programs that not only enhance technical and professional skills but also inspire young people to become proactive leaders in their communities.
