Maggie Mashau is a Senior Project manager at the CSIR/NCPC with over 15 years of experience in Environmental Sustainability space. She holds a master's degree in environmental sciences from the University of Witwatersrand and has been with the NCPC-SA for over 9 years, working with various industrial plants, facilitating Resource Efficient and Cleaner Production assessments and implementation. Currently, responsible for the circular economy, decarbonisation projects and Green Finance Programme, leading industries with implementation of circular economy and decarbonisation interventions and facilitating access to Green Finance.

Senior Manager, EY
Fatgiyah Bardien is a Senior Manager at EY with the government grants and tax incentives team. She has over 25 years’ experience working in both public and private sectors with enterprises across different sectors such as infrastructure, manufacturing, tourism, and business process outsourcing. In these sectors, she has led and managed the development of special purpose vehicles, enterprise support and development programmes, developed and evaluated web-based programme management systems, undertook re-engineering and efficiency audits, managed, administered and reviewed large-scale grant and incentive programmes, with multiple projects, significant budgets, large teams and diverse stakeholder groups. She has a BCom in Management and a National Diploma in Internal Auditing.

Energy Assist
Barry Platt holds a BSc. Mechanical Engineering from the University of KwaZulu Natal and has been working as an Energy Consultant since 2007. He has conducted more than 100 energy systems optimisation and resource efficiency and cleaner production assessments. Barry is registered with UNIDO and the CSIR as an expert energy consultant and is a UNIDO qualified Pumps and Fan Systems expert and international training course facilitator. Barry also consults on the design and installation of renewable energy initiatives.
