Summary
The NCPC-SA Conference is a biennial event aimed at equipping industry at both a company and sector level to transition to a green, low carbon and circular economy. The 2024 event focuses on the sharing of knowledge needed for decarbonisation of industry, adoption of circular economy methodologies and the tools and resources required to escalate the transition in South Africa and Africa.
Approach
The conference will host two parallel sessions on Day 1, the larger of which will provide expert insight on smart and enabling tools, including digitisation, green finance and eco-innovation. Practical applications for companies and case studies will be shared in the second breakaway session. On Day 2, three technical workshops will be held for critical focus areas: green finance, the clothing and textiles sector and the metals sector, hosted in partnership with the NFTN.
